First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing head and neck stretching exercises soon after thyroid surgery can improve voice function, lower anxiety, and boost psychological resilience. 103 adults who had a thyroidectomy were split into two groups: one did the stretches, the other received standard care. Researchers measured voice, anxiety, and resilience before surgery and at several points up to one month after.
