New combo therapy aims to save voices, fight tough cancer

NCT ID NCT07310771

Summary

This study is testing a new combination of three cancer drugs (sintilimab, nimotuzumab, and chemotherapy) followed by radiation for people with advanced head and neck cancer that has not spread to distant parts of the body. The main goal is to see if this approach can effectively control the cancer while preserving the patient's voice box (larynx). It will measure how well the treatment works and monitor its safety in a small group of 23 participants.
