New Two-Pronged attack tested against tough head and neck cancers

NCT ID NCT06959108

Summary

This study aims to see if using two newer drugs together before standard chemoradiation works better than using one of those drugs alone for people with advanced head and neck cancer. About 106 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the single drug or the two-drug combination as an initial 'induction' treatment. The main goal is to compare how many patients' tumors shrink significantly with each approach before they move on to standard chemoradiation therapy.
