First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is for adults whose head and neck cancer has returned locally after previous radiation treatment. It compares two approaches: one group gets a repeat course of radiation with chemotherapy followed by immunotherapy (pembrolizumab), while the other gets the standard immunotherapy with or without chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the more intensive sequence helps people live longer.
