Mini-Tumor lab tests could predict best cancer drugs
NCT ID NCT06686342
Summary
This study aims to see if drug tests performed on tiny 3D tumor models grown in a lab from a patient's own cancer cells can accurately predict how well standard cancer treatments will work for that patient. Researchers will enroll 100 people with recurrent or metastatic head and neck cancer. They will compare the lab test results with how patients actually respond to their prescribed treatments to check for consistency.
