Summary
This study follows 52 elite junior ice hockey players over one season to see how head impacts—even without a concussion—affect the brain and body. Using helmet sensors and video, every impact is recorded. Players take heart rate and attention tests before, during, and after the season, plus after any concussion or severe hit. The goal is to spot early changes and improve safety for young athletes.
