Scientists track blood clues to improve hepatitis d treatment

NCT ID NCT07313358

Summary

This study aims to learn more about how patients with chronic hepatitis D (HDV) respond to a treatment called bulevirtide (BLV). Researchers will analyze existing and future blood samples from about 220 patients to see how their virus levels change over time. The main goal is to find patterns in the blood that can predict which patients are most likely to benefit from the treatment and to compare the accuracy of different lab tests used to measure the virus.
