Dundee study tests if HCV treatment stops spread among drug users

This study looked at whether treating hepatitis C in people who inject drugs can prevent the virus from spreading to others. Researchers analyzed health records of about 2,800 people in NHS Tayside who were tested or treated for hepatitis C. No new treatments or procedures were given—the study simply reviewed existing data to see how well treatment-as-prevention works in real life.
