Summary

This study is for men with localized prostate cancer who are scheduled for surgery to remove the prostate. Participants will take hydroxychloroquine (a drug used for malaria) or a placebo daily before surgery. The goal is to see how the drug affects certain cell processes in the tumor and to check its safety. This is a small, early-phase trial focused on learning, not on treatment.
