Poop transplants and radiation: a bold new combo to fight resistant liver cancer

NCT ID NCT07463248

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Wang Xin Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is for people with advanced liver cancer whose initial immunotherapy treatment has stopped working. It tests whether adding a fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) and a specialized form of radiation to the original treatment can help control the cancer better than simply switching to a standard second-line treatment. Researchers want to see if changing the gut bacteria can help the immune system fight the cancer again when combined with precise radiation.
