First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system responds to chronic hepatitis D, a serious liver infection that requires hepatitis B to survive. Researchers will measure immune cell activity in 192 adults before and during treatment with the drug bulevirtide. The goal is to better understand why some people get worse faster and how treatment affects the immune response.
