First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system reacts to hepatitis D virus in people who also have hepatitis B. Researchers will measure immune cell activity in 192 adults before and during treatment with the drug bulevirtide. The goal is to learn why some patients get worse faster and how treatment affects the immune response. No new treatment is tested; this is an observational study to gather knowledge.
