Summary
This study aims to understand if Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition, is linked to changes in two specific proteins in the blood (α-Klotho and FGF23) that are involved in inflammation and aging. Researchers will compare these protein levels in 150 adults with Hashimoto's to healthy individuals. The goal is to gather knowledge about the body's inflammatory processes in this condition, not to test a new treatment.
