New implant study aims to improve hand and wrist surgery outcomes

Summary

This study is collecting information on the safety and performance of pyrocarbon implants used in hand and wrist surgery. About 417 adults who receive these implants will be followed for at least two years. Researchers will measure how well the implants improve hand function and patient satisfaction.
