Can simple hand washing stop dangerous infections in drug users?

Summary
This study aims to see if teaching proper hand washing and providing single-use hand sanitizer can reduce painful skin abscesses in people who inject drugs. About 440 participants will be split into two groups: one receives the hand washing training and supplies, while the other receives standard care. Researchers will compare the number of skin infections in both groups over six months to see if the educational program makes a difference.
