New hand therapies tested to fight arthritis pain and stiffness

NCT ID NCT07029113

Summary

This study tested two physical therapy methods to help people with rheumatoid arthritis in their hands. Researchers compared task-oriented training, which uses everyday activities, and Mulligan mobilization, a gentle joint-moving technique, to see if they could improve grip strength, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. The goal was to find better ways to manage hand symptoms for this chronic condition.
