Mind over matter: can sharp thinking speed up hand healing in seniors?
NCT ID NCT07379229
Summary
This study aims to understand if a person's thinking skills (like memory and attention) affect how well they recover from hand and forearm injuries. Researchers will observe 34 people over age 65 with these injuries, measuring their mental sharpness, hand function, strength, and pain. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future rehabilitation plans by considering both physical and mental health.
