Summary

This study looked at whether teaching hand and respiratory hygiene to primary school children in Erbil, Iraq, could help them get sick less often and miss fewer school days. Over 800 children aged 9-13 took part. The goal was to see if a simple hygiene program could reduce respiratory and stomach illnesses and the number of days children were absent from school due to illness.
