New therapies tested to help kids with cerebral palsy use their hands
NCT ID NCT06930053
Summary
This study compared two different physical therapy approaches to improve hand function in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Researchers tested action observation training (watching and copying movements) against core stability training (strengthening trunk muscles) in 52 children aged 4-8 years. The goal was to see which method better helps children perform daily activities with their affected hand.
