Tech meets therapy: video games and zaps tested to help kids with cerebral palsy use their hands

NCT ID NCT07311018

Summary

This study is testing if two new therapies can help children with cerebral palsy use their hands better for daily tasks. Thirty children will try either a video game system that tracks hand movements or a gentle electrical stimulation therapy, along with standard exercises. Researchers will measure changes in hand strength, control, and ability to do things like pick up objects.
