Tape vs. splint: which heals broken hands better?

NCT ID NCT06734364

Summary

This study compares two standard treatments for broken hand bones (excluding the thumb). Researchers want to see if simple buddy taping (taping the injured finger to a healthy one) works as well as wearing a splint for recovery. They'll measure hand strength and function in 96 adults over 90 days to determine if both methods lead to similar healing and return to normal activities.
