Summary

This study tested which of two hands-on massage techniques works better for athletes with tight, painful hamstrings. Seventy-four young athletes received either Active Release Therapy or Positional Release Therapy, along with standard exercises, twice a week for a month. Researchers measured their pain, flexibility, and ability to move to see which approach provided greater relief.
