First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested two stretching programs in 47 young football players (ages 10-18) to see which improves hamstring flexibility more. One group did a special stretching technique (PNF) with mild electrical stimulation, while the other did the same stretching with a fake stimulation. The goal was to find a better way to prevent muscle tightness and improve jumping performance.
