Cradle science: can a tiny hammock soothe premature babies?
NCT ID NCT06209060
Summary
This study aims to find out if placing preterm babies in a special hammock or a snug nest inside their incubator helps them feel more comfortable and keeps their heart rate and breathing stable. Researchers will observe 72 babies, assigning half to the hammock and half to the nesting position for one hour a day over five days. They will measure the babies' comfort levels and vital signs to see which position works better.
