NCT ID NCT04986358

First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at 479 patients who had surgery for hallux valgus (a bunion on the big toe). The goal was to list all complications that can happen within two years after the operation, such as infection or poor healing, and to measure how satisfied patients were with the results. Researchers collected information on the type and severity of each complication and asked patients to rate their satisfaction. The study did not test a new treatment but aimed to better understand the risks and outcomes of this common surgery.
