First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This early study tests whether a solution made from human amniotic fluid, called XVIE, can safely improve hair growth in women who feel their hair is thinning. Fifteen women will receive the treatment via microneedling on the scalp twice over four months. Researchers will take photos to measure changes in hair volume and thickness, and track any side effects.
