New hair growth serum goes Head-to-Head with leading treatment

NCT ID NCT07536100

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether a new peptide-based hair serum works as well as or better than the standard topical minoxidil treatment for pattern hair loss. About 80 adults with mild to moderate hair loss will be randomly assigned to use either the new serum or minoxidil for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in hair density, thickness, and count to see which treatment is more effective and better tolerated.
