First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether an experimental product called XVIE, made from processed human amniotic fluid, is safe and may help regrow hair in 30 adults with common pattern baldness. Participants receive either XVIE or a placebo injected into the scalp twice, 90 days apart, and are followed for 6 months. The main goal is safety, with a secondary look at whether hair count or density improves.
