New gel aims to stop chemo hair loss
NCT ID NCT07397325
Summary
This study is testing a new topical gel called DA-020 to see if it can reduce hair loss caused by chemotherapy. It is for women with early-stage breast cancer who are about to start a specific type of chemo. The gel works by temporarily reducing blood flow to the scalp, which may limit how much chemo reaches the hair follicles.
