Hair loss breakdown: secretome or PRP – which injection wins for thicker hair?

NCT ID NCT07429253

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether injections of secretome (a substance from stem cells) or platelet-rich plasma (PRP, made from your own blood) can improve hair density and thickness in people with male or female pattern baldness. About 40 adults aged 25–59 will receive one of the two treatments, and researchers will measure hair count and the ratio of thick to thin hairs. The goal is to see which approach works better for controlling hair loss.
