New gel could ease jaw pain while you sleep

Summary
This study tests a gel made from hyaluronic acid (HA35) that is applied to the jaw area at night. It aims to quickly reduce pain and muscle tension in people with temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). About 30 adults with jaw pain or clenching will use the gel nightly for 8-12 hours. Researchers will check pain levels and skin reactions to see if the gel is safe and helpful.
