Summary
This study tests a new vaccine designed to protect against the H5N8 bird flu virus. Researchers want to see if it is safe and triggers a strong immune response in 700 healthy adults and older adults. The vaccine is made from inactivated, fragmented virus with an adjuvant to boost immunity. Results will help prepare for possible future outbreaks or pandemics.
