New vaccine tested to prepare for potential bird flu outbreak

Summary
This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect against a specific type of bird flu virus (H5N8) in case of a future outbreak or pandemic. Researchers will enroll 700 healthy adults and older adults to check how safe the vaccine is and how well it triggers an immune response. Participants will receive two doses of either the vaccine or a placebo, and their health and antibody levels will be closely monitored.
