First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 14-day treatment using just two medications (vonoprazan and an antibiotic) works as well as the standard four-drug regimen for clearing H. pylori, a bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers and cancer. About 372 adults who have never been treated for H. pylori will take part. The main goal is to see how many people are cured of the infection, and researchers will also track side effects and how well participants stick to the treatment.
