First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at two different antibiotic treatments for Helicobacter pylori, a bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers. Researchers compared a 7-day treatment with three drugs (including amoxicillin and tetracycline) to a 14-day treatment with two drugs. The goal was to see which one works better and has fewer side effects. The study involved 508 adults who had not been treated for H. pylori before.
