New cream for Pre-Cancerous skin spots enters first human safety trial

NCT ID NCT06888362

Summary

This was an early safety study of a new topical cream called GZ21T, intended to treat a common sun-damaged skin condition called actinic keratosis. The trial tested single applications of the cream on healthy volunteers to see how much gets absorbed into the body and to check for any skin reactions or other side effects. The main goal was to determine if the cream is safe enough to test further in people who actually have the skin condition.
