New cream for Pre-Cancerous skin spots enters first human safety checks
NCT ID NCT06888362
Summary
This was an early-stage study to check the basic safety of a new topical cream called GZ21T, which is being developed to treat actinic keratosis (rough, scaly skin patches caused by sun damage). The study involved 41 healthy volunteers who had a single application of the cream or a placebo on their skin. Researchers closely monitored the participants for any side effects, skin reactions, and how much of the drug got into their bloodstream.
