First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at the gut bacteria, immune system, and nutrition levels in 120 children aged 3-14 with different respiratory health conditions, including pneumonia and recurrent infections. Researchers will compare these factors between sick children and healthy ones to see if imbalances in gut bacteria play a role in getting sick. The goal is to better understand how the gut and immune system interact in childhood respiratory infections.
