NCT ID NCT07618000
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a dietary supplement called PI-YSP-0111 in 140 healthy adults aged 18 to 65. Participants take either a high or low dose of the supplement or a placebo daily for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in gut bacteria, body composition, and liver health markers to see if the supplement has any benefits.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
PI-YSP-0111 formulation (a dietary supplement containing probiotics, grape seed extract, oligo, and wolfberry extract)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could show that the supplement improves gut bacteria balance and liver health markers in healthy people.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage study with no disease focus, so results may be small or not apply to the general population. Dietary supplements often show limited effects.
