NCT ID NCT07255989

First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a quick, painless scan called FibroScan (normally used for the liver) can also detect fatty pancreas. Researchers tested it on 50 adults aged 30-70, with and without obesity or diabetes. The goal was to see if this easy method could replace more expensive or invasive tests like MRI or ultrasound.
