Scientists track gut bacteria Day-by-Day in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07460687
Summary
This study aims to understand how the community of bacteria in our gut naturally changes from day to day in healthy people. Researchers will follow 20 healthy adults in Hangzhou for 15 days, collecting daily stool and saliva samples, recording everything they eat, and monitoring their blood sugar. The goal is to create a detailed map of normal gut bacteria fluctuations to help future research distinguish between healthy variation and signs of disease.
