Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether transplanting healthy gut bacteria from donors into children with autism can help improve their symptoms. Researchers believe the gut and brain are connected and that fixing gut problems might help with autism behaviors. The study will give 80 children repeated transplants and track changes in their autism symptoms, sleep, and digestion over several months.
