Scientists test if special yogurts can reshape your gut garden
NCT ID NCT06799364
Summary
This study aims to understand how eating specific probiotic yogurts, with or without a prebiotic fiber called GOS, changes the types and amounts of 'good' bacteria in the gut. Researchers will compare these products to regular yogurt in 182 healthy adults aged 45-60 over 28 days. The main goal is to see which combination best increases the diversity of beneficial Bifidobacteria in the digestive system.
