Summary
This study looked at how eating special fermented dairy products for 28 days changes the variety of good bacteria in the gut. Healthy adults aged 45 to 60 ate either a yogurt with added Bifidobacteria, a yogurt with Bifidobacteria plus prebiotic fibers, or plain yogurt. The main goal was to see if these products increase the number of different Bifidobacterium species in the gut.
