Summary

This study aims to understand if a specific gut bacteria, Ruminococcus gnavus, and its byproducts are linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). Researchers will observe and compare 200 participants, including healthy individuals and those diagnosed with MAFLD. The goal is to gather knowledge about this connection to inform future research and potential treatments.
