Summary
This study aims to see if the types of bacteria found inside digestive system tumors can help predict which patients will benefit from pre-surgery (neoadjuvant) cancer treatment. Researchers will collect tumor samples from 90 patients with cancers like stomach, pancreatic, or colorectal cancer who are scheduled for this treatment. The goal is to find bacterial 'biomarkers' that could one day help doctors choose the best treatment for each patient.
