Summary

This study aims to understand why many breast cancer patients experience severe diarrhea while taking the drug abemaciclib. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria of 60 patients who get diarrhea with those who don't, using stool and blood samples. The goal is to learn if the body's natural gut microbes play a role in this common and disruptive side effect.
