First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at why some breast cancer patients get diarrhea from the drug Abemaciclib while others don't. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria of 60 women who have diarrhea with those who don't, using stool samples. No new treatments are tested—the goal is to learn how the gut microbiome might be linked to this common side effect.
