First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether using liquid Platelet-Rich Fibrin (a substance from your own blood) or Low-Level Laser Therapy can help people heal faster and reduce the chance of the gummy smile returning after lip repositioning surgery. About 22 adults with a gummy smile due to a hyperactive upper lip will be enrolled. The goal is to improve healing and maintain the cosmetic result.
