Summary
This study looked at whether a deep cleaning of the gums (called subgingival instrumentation) can help with jaw symptoms like pain, tension, and stiffness in people who grind their teeth and also have gum disease. Sixty adults between 30 and 40 years old took part. The main goal was to see if their jaw symptoms improved after the cleaning.
