Blood-Based treatments tested to thicken thin gums

NCT ID NCT06964529

Summary

This study compared two blood-derived treatments (I-PRF and C-PRF) for improving thin gum tissue during dental surgery. Thirty healthy adults with naturally thin gums received one of the treatments alongside a specialized surgical technique. Researchers measured changes in gum thickness and width over six months to see which treatment worked better.
